PalletMach had tested miscanthus pallets by wood pallet machine successfully. The following is the whole story.
My colleague received a client from US and he brought a big bag of miscanthus.
Miscanthus is the raw materials he planned to produce pallets.
What is Miscanthus?
Miscanthus is a warm season perennial grass that is non-invasive, drought and pest resistant, and needs less fertilizer than food crops, which translates into less run-off into the region’s water systems. Critically, Miscanthus can yield between 10-15 tons per acre. Combined, the high yields and positive environmental attributes make Miscanthus an optimal perennial crop in consideration of yield, non-invasiveness, unique fiber qualities, GHG life cycle, BTU values, and feedstock logistics.
Miscanthus provides a sustainable, reliable, and consistent feedstock for our manufacturing facilities.

Our technical staff were preparing to test them with small pallets and see whether it can be taken as raw materials.

Then we finally got mini miscanthus pallet.


It seems good, and in fact the quality is very nice. Unbelievable!
What the hell can I say? This is awesome!


Then will it be possible to produce big miscanthus pallets?

The results are
The statics load capacity is 7.5 tons, and the dynamic load capacity is 1.3 tons. But, Miscanthus pallet is still good.
